Privacy Policy
This site is a directory of free things to do, and nothing more. No walk is sold from these pages, no payment is handled here and no spot on any tour is reserved by this site. Every walk described is run by an independent local guide, with reservations made on GuruWalk, or on freetour.com for the walks listed there. Nothing transactional happens on these pages, so the data this site can gather about a visitor is small. This page sets out what that data is, and what changes once you leave for a guide's own page.
What This Site Collects
No booking form exists anywhere on this site. Holding a free spot on a walk means going to GuruWalk or freetour.com, and whatever you type there, a name, an email or anything else, stays with that platform. None of it comes back here. What remains is what any browser records during an ordinary visit to any website.
Cookies And Analytics
Ordinary cookies may be used to count how often pages are opened, and they hold no personal identity. No profile of any visitor is built, and no person is followed from one page to the next. Where analytics exist, they show which pages get read, as anonymous totals, and nothing beyond that.
The Plain Facts
- This site gathers no names, no email addresses and no payment details. Reservations happen on GuruWalk or freetour.com, so nothing is ever booked or bought here.
- Every walk is free, pay what you want, and the reservation happens on GuruWalk or freetour.com, under the policy of the platform you book on.
- Links to walks are affiliate links, meaning GuruWalk or freetour.com pays this site a fee when a reservation follows one, at no extra cost to you.
- Your browser can refuse cookies whenever you like, and questions about this page or about any walk can be raised through this site's contact page.
Your Choices
Readers keep full control over the little data this site involves. Any browser lets you block or delete cookies, and blocking them does not hide the free-entry information or the walk pages published here. Booking a place on a walk is handled elsewhere: it takes place on GuruWalk or freetour.com, where the account and everything attached to it belong to you and can be closed whenever you like.
Questions about this page can be sent to the address shown in the footer, including any request to fix or withdraw a walk's description. If a query concerns a particular walk, its meeting point or when it runs, contact the guide through their GuruWalk page or their freetour.com listing. The guide operates that walk; this site does not run it and takes no bookings.
